Frequently Asked Questions
Is plasterboard as strong as a brick wall?
For partition walls, plasterboard is more than adequate and is the standard in most European countries. It's lighter, faster to install, and provides better acoustic and thermal insulation. For load-bearing purposes, we use reinforced options or traditional masonry.
Can I hang heavy items on plasterboard walls?
Yes, with appropriate fixings. We can install reinforcement plates inside the wall for TVs, heavy shelves or kitchen units.
